Brian Keith Mullins, 40, passed away Sunday, Apirl 15th. He is survived by his wife Michelle Mullins; children Alyssa Mullins, Brooke Mullins and Richard Perkins; parents Loretta and Roger Mullins, a sister Amanda Nalley; a brother Robert Scott Bates. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 19 at 12 noon EDT at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Lodiburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wed. April 18 from 4 to 9 pm EDT and after 8am to 11am Thursday at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington.
CW2 (Ret.) George Milton Childers, Sr, 77, passed away Sunday April 15. He is survived by his wife Mary Chilers; one son, George M. Childers, Jr.; one daughter Tamela Twigg; two grandsons; two brothers Joe Childers and Paul Childers; three sisters Lorene Maxwell, Helen Bumgardner; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday and from 11am until 1pm Thursday at the Chism Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday April 19 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Mr. Jackie Lynn Sowell, age 62, passed away Sunday April 15 at the Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Sowell is survived by three chidlren, Austin Sowell, Christina Sowell, and Lacy Blankenship; a sister, Charlotte McEntire, Jefferson City; four grandchildren; and an aunt, Esther Ezernack. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, April 23 at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the time of service Monday. Paul H. Sherrill, 80, died Tuesday April 17. He is survived by his sons Paul, Roy, Robert and Michael; several grandchildren; his brother, Cy Sherrill; his sisters, Bonnie Crone and Betty Sams; and his step sisters Tommie Cole, Wanda Hornsby and Lorna Souders. There will be a memorial service at 1pm Friday April 20 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be after 10am Friday at the funeral home.
