4:34 ministries will be having a fundraising dinner for the homeless every 3rd Sunday of the month from 11:30 to 1:30 at the Heidelberg United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 2210 West Heidelberg Rd in Corydon. Price is $12 per person. All proceeds go to support the 4:34 Ministry and The Macy House giving the homeless a hand up. 

Kentucky LIHEAP, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is a federally funded program that supplements the utility budgets for low income households in the state of Kentucky. Central Kentucky Action Council provides services to the Lincoln Trail Area Development District which includes Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington Counties. Drive thru viewing of Christmas lights at the riverfront park in Brandenburg will be open nightly from November 24th - January 1st. 

Now through the end of December, drop off your box tops at Kroger in Brandenburg to help support Brandenburg Primary Schol. The school will receive 10 cents for every box top dropped off. 


Christmas With The Animals of Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary will be Friday & Saturday December 7 & 8 and December 14 & 15 from 5pm - 9pm. Fun for all ages. For directions visit www.broadbentwildlife.org. 

Christmas Angels are available to be picked up at Kroger, Cox's, Shopko, Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, Meade Cross Fit, Meade County Public Library, Everett & Allie's and the North Pole Gift Shop.

Fort Knox's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled to take place Dec 6 at 5:30 pm at the installation's Post Gazebo located across from Brooks Parade Field.

The City of Muldraugh will be having their Christmas parade Saturday December 8th beginning at dusk. If you would like to participate please call city hall at 502-942-2824. There will also be a holiday bazaar that morning at the city hall gym from 9-4.

The First Baptist Church in Brandenburg invites everyone to their Christmas Cantata "All Is Well" Saturday December 8th at 6pm and Sunday December 9th at 10am. Join for a worship service featuring some favorite Christmas carols and some new Christmas songs.

Meade County Public Library will be having a Who-bilation December 11th beginning at 5:30pm. There will be a movie, treats, games, crafts plus a visit from Santa and the Grinch! Program is free. No registration required. 

December 15th, 2018

There will be a parents' day out Saturday December 15th hosted by the MCHS Cheerleaders at the JRA Freshman academy. The day will be filled with games, crafts, activities and lunch for children. The MCHS Cheerleaders and coaching staff will be interacting with your children. 9am - 2pm. $30 / child or $50/ family. 

Muldraugh Community Action Group will be hosting free pictures with Santa Saturday December 15th at Muldraugh Dairy Queen. 8:00 - 11:00. Each chil receives a free toy. No purchase necessary.

Meet Santa, make a paper snowflake and decorate Christmas cupckaes December 18th at 5:30pm at the Meade County Public Library. All ages are welcome. 

December 20th, 2018

Join the Meade County 4-H as they kick off the holiday season with food, fun and 4-H friends. Youth, ages 5 - 18 are invited to join in December 20th from 10am - 1pm at the Extension Office. 

The Meade County Public Library is having a last minute gift making workshop for ages 3 and up December 20th from 1-3pm, while supplies last. 

December 28th, 2018

There will be a New Year's Eve Party beginning at 11am at the Meade County Public Library December 28th for ages 3-12. The program is free. No registration required.

Saint MArtin of Tours invites you to a New Year's Eve Dance at the St. Martin's Gymnasium December 31st from 8pm - 12:30am. $20 for a person, $35 for a couple, $150 for a table of 8.
